The Council's Decision
The council does not create a finished roster. Instead, each member opens a different recruitment path: divine exile, immortality, necromancy, mortal skill, and an ancient protected alliance. Gord turns those leads into the Hexbreakers, the organization that gradually becomes the Black Forest Commandos.

After Angra escapes at the end of Black Forest Shadow, the council concludes that no single guardian can contain him and instructs Gord to assemble an extraordinary team.
Zeus recommends Mina and reveals her former service to Hades and the curse that made her immortal. Tyr proposes The Valkyrie. Deus nominates Nil, a necromancer beyond a worm-guarded cave. Diva recommends Maya, a mortal jungle warrior. Mithra directs Gord toward Mount Damavand, where Artemisia and the Amazonians await her.
Gord turns those leads into the Hexbreakers, the organization that gradually becomes the Black Forest Commandos.
