The Divine Council
The assembly of Zeus, Tyr, Deus, Diva, and Mithra that orders Gord to build a force capable of pursuing Angra after his escape.
The Divine Council is the five-member assembly that receives Gord after Angra Mainyu escapes at the end of Black Forest Shadow. It concludes that no single guardian can contain the Architect of the CVEs and instructs Gord to assemble an extraordinary team.
Members
- Zeus recommends Mina, revealing her former service to Hades and the curse that made her immortal.
- Tyr proposes his greatest former pupil, the warrior now known as The Valkyrie.
- Deus nominates Nil, a necromancer living beyond a cave guarded by giant worms.
- Diva recommends Maya, a mortal jungle warrior whose abilities come from discipline and training.
- Mithra, occupying Ahura Mazda's place on the council, directs Gord toward Mount Damavand, where Artemisia and the Amazonians await her.
The Council's Decision
The council does not create a finished roster. Instead, each member opens a different recruitment path: divine exile, immortality, necromancy, mortal skill, and an ancient protected alliance. Gord turns those leads into the Hexbreakers, the organization that gradually becomes the Black Forest Commandos.
