Tyr
The divine council member and former mentor who sends Gord to recruit his greatest pupil, the warrior now known as The Valkyrie.
Tyr is a warrior and member of The Divine Council that answers Gord's call after Angra Mainyu escapes. He understands that the coming hunt requires experienced fighters whose histories have been obscured by divine politics.
The Council's Call
When the council instructs Gord to build a greater alliance, Tyr recommends his finest former pupil: The Valkyrie. Her dispute with Odin has made her identity politically dangerous, so Tyr tells Gord to use the title by which she will be known in the modern era.
His recommendation is more than the name of a capable recruit. Tyr gives Gord a safe way to approach a warrior whose real name has been lost—or deliberately pushed out of history—without reopening the quarrel that separated her from Asgard.
Mentor and Councilor
Tyr's place on the council joins martial experience with institutional memory. He knows both what the Valkyrie can do and why recruiting her requires discretion. That judgment helps turn the first Black Forest group into the larger coalition introduced by The Council's Call.
