Amazonian Warrior

One of Artemisia's disciplined warriors, whose ability to sense malice helps expose infiltrators during the defense of Asgard.

The Amazonian Warrior represents the soldiers led by Artemisia. After the Battle of Salamis and Zeus' wrath, Mithra gives Artemisia and the Amazonians shelter. That protection grows into a lasting alliance, and the warriors later answer Mithra's call during the defense of Asgard.

The Asgard Mission

Artemisia brings the Amazonians into Asgard as an organized force rather than a collection of individual heroes. Their life force can sense malice, allowing them to identify Type III CVE Monsters that mimic or occupy residents. They secure the inner citadel and replace defenders who cannot reliably distinguish an infiltrator from an innocent civilian.

In the Soundtrack

The Second Sun tells the battle from the perspective of an unnamed Amazonian warrior.

During the final battle, the Amazonians hold a shield line against the Shadows. Light briefly forces the creatures into physical form, giving spears and shields something they can strike. Azar's second sun ultimately breaks the attack, but its heat and light endanger defenders as well as enemies.

The song turns a realm-wide victory into the experience of an ordinary soldier: a broken spear, an order to hold the line, and dawn arriving over a field of ash.
