Mina
Mina, the immortal undead assassin whose empathy is as surprising as her reputation.
Mina is an undead assassin and one of the Black Forest Commandos' most independent reconnaissance specialists. She carries a terrifying reputation from the centuries before her recruitment, but repeatedly proves more perceptive and compassionate than that reputation suggests.
An Immortal Operative
Mina was an assassin before she entered a timeless sleep in a vampire's crypt.
She recharges through sunlight rather than food. Before the Asgard battle, she lies beside a lake reading accounts of historical battles—part rest, part reconnaissance—and is among the first to notice the airborne CVE approaching the city.
The Asgard Mission
Mina encounters RuinTan deep in the forest while he is surrounded by CVEs. He does not need rescuing, but he does make the mistake of calling her an ancient woman. Their resulting banter becomes one of the mission's stranger new alliances.
Character
Sardonic, fearless, and emotionally guarded, Mina resists easy labels. Her ISTP classification reflects autonomy, tactical adaptability, and a preference for understanding individuals through direct encounters rather than abstract rules.
Abilities and Equipment
- Dual pistols and daggers: Support fast close-to-medium-range combat and silent infiltration.
- Undead physiology: Frees her from ordinary human limits, though the exact rules remain mysterious.
- Reconnaissance: Trusted to work alone in hostile territory.
- VEX exemptions: In the Black Forest Commandos' security metaphor, Mina records accepted risks so harmless or mitigated CVEs are not hunted blindly.
