Jack
A cybernetic scout and heavy-assault specialist with a complicated history in the Black Forest.
Jack is a heavily augmented Black Forest Commando who uses cybernetic sensors, heavy armor, and an axe to discover, classify, and neutralize CVE threats.
The Asgard Mission
Jack searches the forests around Asgard for creatures that escaped the main battlefront. When he encounters an apparent civilian, he does not trust appearance alone: his cybernetic scan reveals a CVE mimic, which he neutralizes.
Character
Jack is quiet, procedural, and strongly action-oriented. His operating cycle—discovery, assessment, neutralization—reflects both his cybernetic systems and his ISTP classification. Despite his intimidating appearance, he retains a protective instinct and refuses to reduce victims to the threats occupying them.

Jack first appears as a miner aligned with Angra Mainyu and escapes the 1865 confrontation. He is later found wired into Neo-Hague's systems, where the Black Forest Commandos free him from the city's control. He eventually joins the team and turns the machinery once used against him into a tool for detecting and neutralizing CVEs.
During the Asgard Mission, a target proves to be a CVE occupying a living host rather than merely imitating a civilian. Jack destroys the invader without killing the person underneath. Once freed, the terrified civilian embraces him, and Jack quietly returns the gesture. The scene establishes that discovery and classification must come before neutralization.
