Captain Ahab
The veteran navigator and command-support officer who takes responsibility when a mission enters uncharted waters.
Captain Ahab is the Black Forest Commandos' veteran navigator and one of the team's most experienced conventional commanders. He was recruited when the team needed someone willing to take them through waters that other captains would refuse to enter.
Joining the Black Forest Commandos
Ahab's maritime experience brought the Black Forest Commandos toward the Scheveningen harbor during the Neo-Hague operation. His knowledge of dangerous waters, sea creatures, and long expeditions made him valuable beyond transportation alone.
He carries a harpoon weapon and the habits of a ship's captain: maintain direction, protect the crew, and keep the operation moving when every specialist is occupied with an immediate crisis.
The Asgard Mission
Ahab enters Asgard with the Black Forest Commandos but does not spend the entire campaign chasing targets in the field. Gord assigns him to the command center, ensuring that an experienced commander remains at the operational hub while Evie, Jack, Mina, and other specialists disperse across the realm.
He can fight CVEs directly when required, but his greater contribution is continuity of command: maintaining the shared picture while the mission unfolds in several places at once.
Character
Stubborn, pragmatic, and comfortable accepting responsibility, Ahab is classified as ESTJ. He is more grounded than many of his supernatural teammates, which makes him a useful stabilizing presence among gods, immortals, and living shadows.
